Cuba City/SW/B continued its dominance in the SWAL Conference by winning the conference tournament Tuesday afternoon at par-72 Edelweiss Chalet Country Club shooting a team score of 313. Mineral Point placed second twentythree strokes behind with a 336. Barneveld finished third, Argyle/Pec fifth, and Iowa-Grant place sixth.
Pointer Drew Aschliman was medalist for the meet shooting a one under par 71. Argyle/Pec’s Avari Steiner finished second individually with a 74. Cuba City/SW/B had three golfers break 80 those being Ben Thill with an 75, Levi Johns 76, and Landon Loeffelholz carding a 78. Pointer Gaige Godfrey shot 79.
Barneveld was led by Colton Christensen who shot an 83.

The WIAA Regionals begin next week. Mineral Point will compete in Division 2 and will play Tuesday at the Monroe Country Club. Barneveld’s Deer Valley Golf Course will host a Regional in Division 3 on Tuesday with Barneveld, Argyle/Pec, and Iowa-Grant competing locally.
