The Mineral Point Kiwanis Club honored its May Students of the Month at its meeting Tuesday, May 5.

The students, who are members of the Senior class, are selected for this honor through a voting process by staff at the high school, and their biographies are written by themselves.

These are the final Students of the Month for the 2025-26 school year.

Brady Haas

Brady Haas is a Senior at Mineral Point High School and the youngest child of Alison Haas. He has one older brother, Haeden, who graduated in 2023 and is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Brady was born in Warner Robins, Georgia and began his attendance in the Mineral Point Unified School District in 7th Grade.

As a military child who has moved from state to state his entire life, Brady has developed a remarkable ability to adapt to new environments and build lasting connections quickly. This resilient characteristic is the foundation of his success as a three-sport athlete in football, wrestling, and golf. Whether he is on the gridiron, the mat, or the green, Brady is known for his grit, sportsmanship, and commitment to his teammates.

Beyond athletics, Brady excels in his technical pursuits and academic responsibilities. He is an active member of SkillsUSA, notably competing at the state level in the Teamworks category. A consistent honor roll student, Brady balances his rigorous schedule with a positive attitude that earns him the respect of both faculty, peers, and his mom. His leadership and work ethic make him a standout representative of the Mineral Point community.

Furthermore, in his free time, Brady enjoys hanging out with his family, hunting anything in season, fishing, playing video games, and of course as much golf as he can fit in the schedule.

Following graduation, Brady will continue his family’s legacy of service by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. He is scheduled to depart in August to begin his career as enlisted Aircrew. With a clear vision for his future, Brady plans to dedicate himself to a career in the military, carrying the Pointer Spirit of hard work and excellence with him into his service.

Brady would like to congratulate Aly Jones on being selected as Student of the Month and to thank the members of Kiwanis for this opportunity as well as the luncheon.
