Kade Rule wrestles in NCAA Division 1 Kylie Rule is All-American tournament as a UTC freshman 126 NC WOMEN’S

Former Mineral Point High School wrestler Kade Rule took part in the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships over last weekend. Wrestling for the University of Chattanooga (UTC), he had two matches, dropping both by decisions. Above, he has a firm hold on Air Force Academy’s Karson Tompkins in his second match, a 2-0 loss.

Former Pointer Kylie Rule collected All-American honors recently for the Wartburg College women’s wrestling team.

Rule, a junior at 138 pounds, placed fifth at the inaugural NCAA National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships held in Coralville, la.

She won four of six matches to claim her second all-American honor in three years.

Rule finishes the season winning 80 percent of her matches.
