The City of Mineral Point is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Maggied as the new City Administrator, effective July 20, 2026.
Troy comes to this position after having worked for fourteen years with the Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, serving as the executive director for the last ten years. At the Commission, Troy oversaw and directed a team of planners and economic developers to work with communities and organizations on issues of all sizes in southwest Wisconsin.
“I am proud to welcome Troy Maggied as the City’s next Administrator,” said Mayor Danny Clark. Clark continued, “When I learned we would be looking for a new administrator, I knew we needed a leader with the expertise to run municipal operations and to continue the city’s momentum. Troy is the leader that we were looking for. His experience leading the regional planning organization and working with communities and organizations demonstrate his ability to tackle challenging issues and make continual improvements. I am confident that Troy will help keep the current momentum, continue addressing current and future challenges, and improve city operations and services.”

Troy succeeds Matthew Honer. They will work together to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
