At its organizational meeting last week, the Mineral Point city council re-elected Keith Burrows council president.
The council unanimously approved board, commission and committee appointments, as well as Mayor Danny Clark’s appointments to standing city council committees.
Clark expressed appreciation for Tim Freeman for his years of service. “He cares about this city. I can’t thank him enough,” the mayor said. Freeman, who has served most recently on the plan commission and historic preservation commission, has served on commissions and committees for many years. He will continue to serve as an alternate on the board of review through next year.
