Businesses, families, civic and church groups and all interested individuals are encouraged to help plan Mineral Point’s bicentennial.
The year-long celebration will include an anthology scheduled for release in January, monthly festivities, downtown decorations, a bicentennial coin and discussions and lectures about Mineral Point’s history.
Organizers want as much community collaboration and participation as possible.
Bring ideas and input to the next planning meeting Thursday (Sept. 17) at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
