Alice E. (Gordon) Noble, age 99, of Mineral Point, WI, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, at Upland Hills Nursing in Dodgeville WI, surrounded by her family. Alice was born in Waldwick, WI and attended high school in Mineral Point. After, she married and raised a family in Mineral Point. She then lived in Mt. Horeb and worked many years at Ingleside Nursing as a CNA and DA. After retirement she moved back to Mineral Point and was very active with volunteering her time with the Mineral Point Methodist Church and Women’s fellowship. Alice loved baking, going on regional trips with friends and spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her son Larry R. Noble, daughters Jennifer L. Noble, Laura L. Noble, great grandson Dakota Kahl and great great grandson Joshua Kahl. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Archie Lea Gordon and Mable V. Gordon, son Jack A. Noble, granddaughter Kari A. Noble, Brothers Curtis Gordon (m Jeanette), Harold Gordon (m Lenore), sisters Agnes Ellery (m Kenny), Lela Jacobson, Marian McGuire (m Lloyd, Grace Cunningham (m Louis), Catherine Gordon.
The family expresses their thankfulness to Upland Hills Nursing Center and Upland Hills Hospice for their great compassion and tender loving care towards our dear mother.
A Celebration of Alice’s Life was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Point. Pastor Lorri McGranahan will officiate. Burial was in the Waldwick Cemetery. A visitation was held on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
