Mineral Point’s Division 4 state champion softball team was honored Friday night at American Family Field during the Milwaukee Brewers’ game against the Minnesota Twins. The team with the best record in MLB baseball honored the best team in D4 Wisconsin high school softball. The Pointers were recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies and featured on the stadium’s jumbotron, celebrating their outstanding season and state championship. Although the Brewers fell to the Twins, 8-6, the team enjoyed a memorable night celebrating its hard work and dedication.
