Tours of historic Orchard Lawn (234 Madison Street, Mineral Point) will begin on Friday, May 22. Tours will take place on the hour from 12:00 p.m .- 4:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Come and tour this important piece of history!
Jammin’ on the Porch 2026
The Mineral Point Historical Society is pleased to announce their 2026 Jammin’ on the Porch line up. All concerts take place outdoors at Orchard Lawn (234 Madison Street). They begin at 6:00 p.m. and are finished around 8:00 p.m. Free will donations are collected for the bands and the historical society. Non-profit food vendors will be on site with dinner and treats to purchase.

Free Screening The Last Waltz The Mineral Point Opera House will have a free screening of the film The Last Waltz on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. A film directed by Martin Scorsese about the band’s last concert. Donations will be accepted for the Pointer Pantry.
Mens Bible Study
A mens Bible study will meet every Tues morning at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Norm Johnson, 908 Fountain Street in Mineral Point. We represent no particular religion and only work with the
King James version of the Bible. All are invited to attend to attend a wonderful time conversing and answering questions anyone has. There is plenty of parking in the yard and coffee is available. Call 608-425-8095 with questions.

Suicide Loss Grief Group
Suicide Loss Grief Group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7-9: p.m. at the Health and Human Services Building, 303 W. Chapel St. Meetings are for people 18 yrs and older that have lost someone they care about to suicide. For more information: SPCICWI@gmail.com
