The exhibit for the month of May, 2026, is the work of local returning artisan, Greg Bykowski, Mineral Point.
According to Greg, “This May I will be exhibiting new ink drawings at the Iowa County Courthouse. Each drawing is based on random beginnings, reflecting the surrealist idea of unlocking the unconscious mind. There is no preconceived idea or image, all images are “found” or simply emerge. Each emergent image exposes others as well, and by adding lines and shapes, I enhance what I find and see. The images share lines, edges, colors, or parts of other images, creating an interconnected whole.
Everything becomes part of something else, and ultimately all are things are connected.”
The displays are open to the public at the Courthouse in Dodgeville, weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
