Over half of Mineral Point’s hits went for extra bases as the Pointers turned back Cuba City 12-4 in a SWAL battle Tuesday.
Jaydn Schultz had a pair of triples and a double as she went 4×5 with an rbi. Also getting extra base hits were Tenleigh Bockhop who tripled along with doubles from Maddy Kabat, Austy Kinch, Ava Ingwell and two by Leah Hoffman.
Several players had multiple hits. Kabat was 2×3, Kinch 2×5, Hoffman 2×4, Tenleigh Bockhop 2×3 and Aida Tuttle 2×4. Ingwell and Chole McVay both had one hit.
Bockhop went the distance in the circle. She gave up nine hits, four runs (three earned), while striking out four. She did not walk a batter.
