First year Dodge/Point United girls soccer coach Andy Weber knows the team will need a makeover from last year.
The D/P squad had 15 letterwinners graduate. But the good thing is there is some real quality in those returning.
“Losing that many letterwinners is always difficult when it comes to finding replacements,” Weber said. “But I feel we have the girls that can do it.”
Weber is no stranger to D/P soccer as he served three seasons as the assistant. He has also coached in youth programs in Potosi, Platteville and with Iowa County soccer. He has recorded five MAYS titles with three different teams and seven club championships with three different teams.
He also has some expertise to help as Ryan Fox is assisting, bringing with him 30 years of soccer experience.
Weber has several letterwinners returning to set the stage for 2026. Back are:

“This core group of returnees can contribute greatly to the team,” said Weber.
Weber plans on having the team work on cleaning up the small things.
“If we do that we can make a run at the end of the year,” Weber predicts.
“(ATTB) Add to the Banner is our goal this season,” said Weber. “And for this team to be inspiration/positive examples future teams.”
Weber picks Platteville and River Valley as the SWC favorites.
“We are fortunate to have 11 home matches this season with only seven away,”said Weber. “We would love to see the stands full helping cheer on the athletes on this year. Two cities. Two schools. One team- UNITED. Let’s get at it.”
