Easter Egg Hunt fills baskets with eggs, faces with smiles
Mineral Point Key Club members Annison Goninen and Kalea Biddick were part of the crew that hid eggs before the hunt Saturday morning. The Key Club, Kiwanis and Mineral Point Historical Society hosted the hunt.
Delight registered on the face of 18-month-old Aurora Winch, of Mineral Point, at her first Easter Egg Hunt.
Rinley Thornton, 5, of Mineral Point, hugged the Easter Bunny.
The community worked together to provide a traditional spring event at the Easter Egg Hunt Saturday.
Residents at Mineral Point Health Services filled 4,000 plastic eggs with candy. Then they watched out the window as kids scooped up several days of work in about five minutes. “It’s fun to watch them run up the hill,” said Virgil Henkels, who helped fill eggs.
