THOSE who had any apprehensions that defeat, in the judicial contest, might set so hard upon Moses M. Strong as to weaken his vigor, will be rejoiced to learn that the contrary is true. We hear it stated that Mr. Strong will soon commence with vigor to labor for an extension of the Mineral Point Railroad, as contemplated by the Wisconsin Midland Company. Our people are fast coming to see the necessity of something of this sort being done, and we have entire confidence in the feasibility of the enterprise. With his usual sagacity, Mr. Strong no doubt sees that the present is a propitious time to commence his self-imposed labor. We hope to have something from his pen on the subject soon, for the benefit of our readers.
